Strada
guide

Strada provides secure remote access to local media drives without uploading files. Use this when media volumes are too large for cloud delivery or deadlines don't allow full uploads.

Only The Palette can initiate file transfers. Your role is to grant access and keep the system online. Do not move or upload files yourself.

When to use Strada

Strada keeps media on your machine — nothing is duplicated or uploaded unless a transfer is explicitly initiated by The Palette. Access is live and permission-based.

For smaller projects, the standard Grade Prep workflow covers everything — Strada is only needed for large volume situations.

Prerequisites

Confirm all of these before starting setup. Do not proceed until they're all met.


Connection

Stable internet connection on the host machine


Machine availability

Computer can remain powered on for the duration of access


Sleep settings

Sleep and auto-shutdown are disabled on the host machine


Permissions

Administrator access to the machine hosting the media

Step-by-step setup

  • Visit strada.tech, create an account using your email address, verify your email, and sign in. If you already have an account, sign in and move to step 2.

  • Download the Strada Agent from the Strada website. Install it on the machine that contains the media. Launch the Agent and sign in. The Agent must remain running for access to work.

  • Open the Strada Agent. Select only the drive(s) that host the project media folders. Confirm access permissions. Do not grant access to unnecessary drives.

  • Log in to the Strada web app at strada.tech/app. Send an invite to The Palette at hello@khalifsultan.com. Assign ADMIN permissions for full access. Do not initiate any transfers — access permissions only are required from your side.

  • Once the invite is sent, let The Palette know access has been granted. The Palette will confirm receipt and handle everything from there.

While Strada is active

The following must remain true for the entire duration of access and any active transfers.

Interruptions will pause access or active transfers. If access is interrupted, The Palette will notify you and advise next steps.

Common issues to avoid

If you're unsure at any stage — do not guess. Contact The Palette before proceeding. Correct setup from the start saves time for everyone.

When Strada is no longer needed

Once grading is complete and The Palette has confirmed all required files have been transferred:

Access can be revoked at any time. No files remain on Strada's servers — everything stays on your machine.
